But, not before they suffered a bit of a scare at the Karoola Park complex.
After losing the 2017 crown to Comprint Solutions, the 17’s Reps came out with all guns blazing in the opening two quarters and enjoyed a big 24-12 lead at the long break.
However, the defending champions – and experienced campaigners – refused to surrender and slowly chipped away at the 12-goal difference.
In fact, Comprint Solutions outscored their younger rivals 20-11 in the second half.
Yet, the 17’s Reps held their nerve to prevail by the barest of margins when it counted most.
In the C grade finale, Goodwin’s Transport Gems claimed the spoils 16-9 from the JMG Fireworks.
Earlier in the day, Pinkalicious saw off the Denman Divas 8-5 in the D grade decider, while the Fireflies lit up to prevail over the Kaltire Divas in BR grade.
In AR grade, the Workies Wonders pipped Hunter Prestige Catering 28-24 and, in B grade, JFEA overpowered La Bella Beauties 33-26.
