The prize, which has been offered by Wideland Motor Group, will be awarded if someone can land a hole-in-one.
However, there is another lucrative incentive on the table, as one lucky golfer is set to win an all-expenses-paid-for trip for two to China.
Another holiday will be auctioned off along with a variety of other items.
There’s a scheduled appearance by nationally-renowned ventriloquist Darren Carr, too, as well as a band.
The event, which will be held on Friday, October 5, at the Muswellbrook RSL Golf Club, is sure to make at plenty of participants happy with these chances to win, but it’s the farmers who will benefit the most.
Wanting to make sure the money stayed in the region, organiser Phil Hollway has set up an account for the raised funds to go into, which will then be distributed to struggling farmers in the area.
And, with more than 100 people set to partake in the event and a raft of sponsors, it’s already cleared the $40,000 mark which is an incredible achievement and is sure to provide farmers with some desperately needed resources.
For anyone interested in joining in, it’s $300 for a team or $75 for individual entry.
A flyer is on the Rotary Club of Muswellbrook Facebook page, or email irahollwayphotography.com or phone Mr Hollway on 0427 373 433 for more details.
