More than 20 different stalls – featuring the likes of TransCare, Merton Living, Upper Hunter Community Services, Muswellbrook Shire Council Sustainability Unit, Muswellbrook Library, Hammond Care, Department Human Services Indigenous Service Officer, Department Human Services Financial Information Service, Wanaruah LALC, OurCare, Northern Settlement Services Ltd, Muswellbrook Healthy and Well, Cancer Council NSW, APIA, Sock On, Upper Hunter Conservatorium of Music, Mission Australia, TAFE, Providence Living, Guide Dogs Australia, Ability Links, Hunter Valley LAC and Calvary – were set up at the Muswellbrook RSL Club, while the Dusty Ukes provided some musical entertainment.
“We’re very happy with how it’s gone so far,” organiser Jemma Anshaw said.
“There has been a steady of flow of people all morning.
“The purpose of the expo is to promote what support and services are available in the Upper Hunter.
“And, it’s not only for seniors; it benefits all family members.”
