Teams will contest a few half-matches on Saturdays, March 16 and 23, to assist with grading for the competition, which will start on Saturday, March 30.
At this stage, there’ll be no play over the school holidays or June long weekend.
Semi-finals are scheduled for August 31, finals on September 7 and grand finals on September 14, with September 21 set aside if weather intervenes.
Town teams need to begin organising their sides and team names must be sent to the association by February 8 (Muswellbrook.netball@gmail.com).
Registration days will take place on Saturdays, February 16 (at Coles) and February 23 (at Marketplace) from 10am to 2pm.
Each squad will be required to list a team contact.
Fees at this stage have risen due to increases from NSW Netball – Net Set Go $100, juniors $120, seniors $175.
NSW Netball claims approximately half and council takes out a User Pays component.
Other money is used to pay umpires and assist with the running of the association.
MNA is looking for coaches for the 11 years’ train-on squads and opens team.
It is also seeking sponsors who might like to support a coaching clinic for the players.
That will be held in early April at Karoola Park.
A special thanks to all the retiring committee members who provided such a terrific competition for the town in 2018.
