And, the man to lead them in their quest is Adam Grech, a former player who’s returned to the fold as captain-coach.
Within weeks of his appointment, he’s straight down to business.
“At this stage, we’ve been getting anywhere from 20 to 25 blokes to training,” Grech said.
“But, you expect that at this time of year, especially with shift work, holidays and the heat.
“The numbers will definitely pick up.
“We’ve already organised a trial match against [former Devils captain-coach] Dean Amos’ side at Denman on March 16.
“So, that should be interesting – and let us know how we’re travelling.”
