FOR those of you craving that summer sun and fun outdoor activities, it’s time to get excited.
Australia’s first mobile water park, Waterworld Central, is heading to the Muswellbrook Showground this month.
Giant inflatable pools and slides will adorn the local venue over two weekends – February 16 and 17, as well as February 23 and 24.
Attractions include the Dragon Pool, Shark World Pool, Gorilla Pool, Dino Slide, Extreme Tuber, Epic Racer and Zorb Cylinder.
“We’re looking forward to coming to Muswellbrook,” director Britt Osborne said.
“I believe it’s been very hot [there], so we might provide some relief.
“Residents – young and old – can enjoy activities like the giant twin slides of the Dragon Pool or bouncing around under the palm trees of Shark World.
“Don’t miss our brand new Extreme Tuber, which boasts 80m of downhill tubing fun, either.
“However, if relaxing is more your thing, venture to the wading pool to chill out and have a splashing good time.
“For the dare devils at heart, take the Dino Challenge by plummeting down our massive Colossal Dino Slide.
“And, if you still haven’t had enough, check out our Zorb Cylinders and experience what it’s like to walk on water.
“Height and weight restrictions apply to the Dino Slide and Extreme Tuber.”
A two-hour Waterworld Central pool pass is $25 (2-16 years), a Waterworld Extreme pass is $35 (7-16 years) and an adult (17+years) is $25 while there’s free entry for spectators.
Tickets may be purchased online now.
