PUPILS treated their maternal "loved ones" to an early special Mother's Day celebration at St James' Primary School last Friday.
While most people acknowledged the annual occasion at the weekend, the youngsters hosted an exclusive afternoon tea, including barista coffee, for all mums, grandmothers, carers and, even, some dads.
"We shared in a beautiful Liturgy, prepared by Stage 1, where we thanked God for our mums," principal Aaron Moon said.
"And, we conducted the inaugural Mother's Day Scavenger hunt where families had to use clues to find letters to make the phrase - I Love My Mum.
"Everyone then got a gift for their mums."
