Warrior Disability Services receives welcome financial boost, thanks to Commonwealth Bank's Muswellbrook branch team

COMMONWEALTH Bank Muswellbrook branch employees have donated $500 to Warrior Disability Services as part of a nationwide community donation program.

And, the staff's generosity was greatly appreciated, according to director of participant services Sally Pereira.

"It's a lovely surprise," she said.

"We're very grateful for the support.

"Our participants will put it [the money] towards their holidays at the end of the year.

"It's a big thing for them to go away - and something they really look forward to."

Over the next few months, Commonwealth Bank has pledged to donate $500,000 nationally to recognise organisations that make a difference in the communities in which we live and work.

Each branch and customer-facing team was allocated $500 to donate to causes important to their local region.
