From Monday, May 27, all members of the Upper Hunter Library Network will have free access to Borrowbox, an eBook and eAudio Book library, which has been specifically curated with our local communities in mind.
Traditionally, access to services has been restricted to library opening hours.
But, this is all changing as products like Borrowbox make library books more accessible to all, including housebound members and shift workers who are not able to make it to the library during opening hours.
Borrowbox includes eBooks and eAudio books for children, teens and adults and covers a range of interest areas like your favourite Australia authors, romance, mystery and biography.
It is also great for people with vision impairment or low vision as eAudio titles can be downloaded and played using audio readers.
The app is easy to use and registration is automatic for all library members.
