Aberdeen Golden Oldies for Golden Oldies returns in June with Aussie offering Dead Letter Office

THE popular Aberdeen Golden Oldies for Golden Oldies returns next week with the Aussie offering Dead Letter Office.

The film, starring Miranda Otto, Nicholas Bell, Barry Otto and Syd Brisbane, will screen in the Aberdeen Sports and Recreation Club's auditorium on Tuesday, June 11.

The movie, which was made in 1998, focuses on the story of love and lost letters.

Proceeds from the morning go towards the Upper Hunter Museum of Rural Life.

Doors open from 11.30am and a three-course luncheon will be served prior to the screening of the movie.

Free tea or coffee is available, too.

A donation of $10 is requested to cover the meal cost.
