With an aggregate score across the under-14s and under-16s of 150-8 on Saturday, the Rams secured their place atop of the table for the former, as the latter hunt the undefeated West Newcastle.
Both sides enjoyed convincing victories as the older girls defeated Cessnock 82-0, and the younger group disposed of Macquarie United 68-8.
Storm Edwards dominated for the U14s, using her strength and size to push through numerous rivals and gain substantial ground almost every time the ball ended up in her hands.
The local team started strong and didn't look back throughout the game as their intensity and pace forced their opponents onto the back foot from the very beginning.
This was all without Isla Johnston who stepped up to under-16s and secured a try, which was one of many throughout the game as the squad shared the scoring around.
Millie Harris, Isabella Wilton, Tenahya Dennis, Matilda Jones, Kiah Perry, Lily Cubillo, Tobey Stewart, Shuana Pritchard and Emily Chapman also touched down over the line, while Georgia Smith incredibly converted seven goals.
It will certainly help their push for top spot, while the younger girls have just extended their margin at the pinnacle.
As two of the town's most successful sides this season, they'll be hoping for extra support as the year wears on.
