The aged care hostel has been transformed into the Wild West, complete with animals and wanted posters, with smiles aplenty throughout the facility.
Activities include a backyard bonfire, gold fossicking, bullseye practice, bottle shooting competition, hunting, "live" entertainment, visiting the beauty parlour, enjoying a pig on a spit and much, much more.
Carer Trudy Pulga said everyone - from the elderly citizens to the staff - was "having a ball".
"It's been fantastic," she explained.
"I think the [country roots] idea has brought back some wonderful memories from their childhood.
"They've enjoyed a campfire stew, damper, marshmallows, apple pie, draught horses, a petting zoo, bush poetry and, even, whip cracking."
Activity officer Annie Barnett also expressed her delight with the concept.
"Last year, we embarked on the Lady Merton's maiden voyage for cruise week," she said.
"This time, the residents picked a 'Cowboys and Indians' theme.
"So, we turned Merton Court into the Wild West, complete with a homestead, a saloon bar and a 'fire'.
"Everyone contributed.
"And, I think, the locals, and those who work here, really appreciate the effort, which has gone into the week.
"They've all soaked up the atmosphere.
"Family members are also encouraged to join us - that's what is so great about events like this."
