
ABERDEEN-born golfing sensation Dylan Perry will start the second round of the 2019 Heiwa PGM Championship, in Japan, one shot off the pace.
The 24-year-old fired a bogey-free round at the PGM Golf Resort Okinawa on Thursday, November 7, to finish four-under at 67.
Perry, who turned professional on November 5 in 2018, birdied the seventh, 11th, 15th and 16 holes.
Angelo Que, Katsumasa Miyamoto, Brad Kennedy and Seungsu Han sit atop the leaderboard with 66.
Perry is tied with Todd Baek, Tetsuji Hiratsuka, Gunn Charoenkul, Yuta Ikeda, Atomu Shigenaga, Ryosuke Kinoshita and Scott Vincent in second.
As a youngster, he enjoyed great success, winning the 2016 Victorian Amateur Championship, 2016 Queensland Amateur Championship and the 2017 Riversdale Cup.
