The goal of the teenager, who's grown up in Muswellbrook and Denman, was to make a final in one of her rowing events at the world-class competition.

She did this - and much more.

Webber came home with three gold medals, one silver and a bronze, a massive smile on her face and wonderful memories.

The INAS Global Games takes place every four years and, in 2019, featured 1000 athletes from 50 countries competing across 10 sports, making it a very action-packed week.

"The medals are beautiful," Webber said.

"And, they're really heavy.

"They were designed and made at the Royal Australian Mint and I am so lucky to have one of each."

On the water, Webber won gold in the 1000m women's single scull, 500m women's double scull and 500m mixed four and a bronze in the 1000m mixed four.

In the indoor rowing, raced on erg machines, she claimed silver in the 2000m women's.

"The whole of the Australian [rowing] team at the Global Games performed amazingly well," Webber said.

"We won 26 medals in total - in the water and indoor events - and three Australians set world records in four indoor events.

"We all trained really hard and, at times, we were pushed by our coaches out of our comfort zones.

"It wasn't much fun sometimes, however it was worth it in the end.

"We couldn't have done it without our amazing coaches and support networks of families and friends."

So what's next for Webber?

The early morning starts are continuing, with her venturing to the Head of the Yarra at the end of November.

She'll be part of the Balmain Rowing Club's mixed para eight crew, the only team from the one club.

"This is my first time at the Yarra and it is going to be a very long eight-kilometre row," Webber said.

"I then have the NSW Championships and Australian Championships next year, and I might be going to the USA to row in a para event in August 2020.

"I would really like to go to the next Global Games in 2023, too, wherever that might be."
