AGL's partnership with Upper Hunter Community Services goes hand-in-hand over Christmas, much like Santa and his hard-working elves.
Each year, employees at the Liddell and Bayswater power stations at Muswellbrook throw their support behind the much-loved organisation.
And, it's been no different in recent weeks.
Donations of food and other items were collected for hampers to help numerous charities over the holiday period, particularly Upper Hunter Community Services (UHCS).
"We'd like to thank AGL's Liddell and Bayswater power stations for their kind donations this Christmas," UHCS's Bec Eveleigh said.
"They will make a huge difference to families of the Upper Hunter."
AGL Macquarie general manager Len McLachlan said the assistance from employees at both Liddell and Bayswater had been overwhelming.
"Every year our workforce organises several fundraising events plus gift and food collection activities," he explained.
"They are always incredibly generous and willing to give their support to great causes.
"We raise money to help many local organisations throughout the year.
"But, the response over recent weeks for Upper Hunter Community Services has been amazing.
"We hope our donations and efforts make a real difference - and bring some joy to people in need in our local community."
