Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19), the regular season was cut short - and annual trophy ceremony abandoned.
But, that didn't stop the club from recognising the athletes' achievements in 2019-2020.
"Since we couldn't stage the 'normal' event, we organised a member from each family to call around to our house and pick up the awards for their kids," secretary Denise Bell said.
"Luckily, many of them have been exercising in Aberdeen by walking or bike/scooter riding.
"So, quite a few athletes fulfilled their routine via Saint Andrew Street.
"And, most [awards] have been collected.
"I then asked each family to take a photo of their child/children in club uniform (with their trophy) and download it to our Facebook page.
"Most people said it cheered the kids up under the circumstances we are all experiencing at the moment.
"As in the past, the pointscore was over the entire club - all ages from under-6s to open.
"Points were accumulated through participation in events each Friday night, plus bonus points were awarded for personal improvement.
"The committee would like to thank all parents for their assistance throughout the season.
"Without your help each week it would be impossible to run our club.
"Hopefully, the current pandemic will ease soon and we can all go back to living normal lives.
"In the meantime, please keep exercising, stay safe and practice your social distancing.
"With any luck, we can all resume athletics for the new 2020-21 season in October."
