Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) Station 283 Denman was called to the incident just after 8am on July 9.
NSW Ambulance paramedics and Hunter Valley Police District officers also attended the scene.
"Our crew arrived quickly and got straight to work," a FRNSW Denman spokesperson said.
"Unfortunately, the house was well alight.
"But, we managed to save the nearby shed and all its contents - everything that was salvageable.
"Multiple NSW Rural Fire Service (NSWRFS) teams - from Bureen, Martindale, Edinglassie and Mangoola - arrived a short time later and assisted with the firefighting efforts and water.
"Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
"Our thanks, once again, go to Fire and Rescue NSW Station 208 Aberdeen for standing by at our station to cover the town while we were busy."
