The WRHS was tasked, at 3.40pm on Saturday, to carry out an urgent medical transfer from the Denman Hospital.
According to a spokesperson, the chopper's critical care medical team stabilised a 14-year-old boy, who suffered possible internal and abdominal injuries after a fall from his bike earlier today.
He was initially treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Denman Hospital.
The WRHS then received a call to convey the teenager to the John Hunter Hospital.
The young boy is currently in a stable condition.
On Friday, October 16, two people were also airlifted to Newcastle following a serious single vehicle rollover at Sandy Hollow.
The accident occurred on Wybong Road after 3pm.
NSW Ambulance paramedics and the WRHS's critical care medical team treated and stabilised an 18-year-old female and a 22-year-old male at the scene.
Both suffered multiple injuries and were flown to John Hunter Hospital, in a stable condition, for further treatment.
