The five-year-old mare travelled from back in the field, took a wide lane on a heavy 8 and avoided trouble in the straight to salute in the $150,000 feature over 1500 metres.
"A really good training effort from Kris there," Hunter-based Australian Bloodstock director Luke Murrell said.
"A little break and hard to get them back to a brutal-run race like that. She came down the outside and gave everyone a high five, which was really good."
It was the third time since December that Itz Lily and jockey Alysha Collett have saluted together, also including the Sky Racing Provincial Summer Series final.
Lees now hopes to build on that success at Rosehill, Gosford, Port Macquarie and Doomben on Saturday as well as Wellington on Sunday.
He added Wandabaa and Mustajeer to his contingent already contesting a postponed Golden Slipper card in the state capital with Gem Song still in the group 1 George Ryder Stakes (1500m).
Lees has seven chances in the Provincial Championships qualifier (1200m), which has been transferred from Wyong.
Last-start winner Snitzari runs a class 3 fillies and mares plate (1100m) in Brisbane.
Meanwhile, All Star Mile champion Mugatoo remains the TAB favourite ($4.50) for the Doncaster Mile at Randwick on April 10 after Lees this week confirmed the six-year-old gelding would race the $3million feature and also consider the Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2000m).
Back to Muswellbrook, Plonka and Rothenburg scored tickets to the $500,000 Country Championships final after finishing top two in the wildcard (1280m) on Friday.
