Recent flood, storm damage, closes Road to Barrington Tops National Park from Gloucester until further notice

Road to Barrington Tops from Gloucester closed

DAMAGE from recent flood and storm events has caused the sudden closure of the road to Barrington Tops National Park from Gloucester.

The Barrington Tops Forest Road/ Scone Road to Barrington Tops Plateau from Gloucester was closed by the Forestation Corporation on Thursday until further notice.

The road is closed between Cobark Park and Honeysuckle picnic areas.

Campgrounds and visitor precincts located on the plateau may still be accessed from the western side via Scone and Aberdeen.

Visitors or those intending to travel over the Barrington Tops should always check the website alerts.
