The Barrington Tops Forest Road/ Scone Road to Barrington Tops Plateau from Gloucester was closed by the Forestation Corporation on Thursday until further notice.
The road is closed between Cobark Park and Honeysuckle picnic areas.
Campgrounds and visitor precincts located on the plateau may still be accessed from the western side via Scone and Aberdeen.
Visitors or those intending to travel over the Barrington Tops should always check the website alerts.
