Sawyers Gully trainer Stacie Elliott nearly has the "whole team" racing at Newcastle with 23 runners across two meetings

SAWYERS GULLY trainer Stacie Elliott reckons she almost has "the whole team" running with 23 horses entered in back-to-back Newcastle Harness Racing Club meetings.

Elliott has 14 in action on Monday, featuring seven in the same event, after fielding 11 at the same track on Friday night. Classic Arc and Showem Simon are those doubling up.

"I've nearly got the whole team racing. And we've got 13 in the first three races [Monday] so it's all hands on deck," she said.

Elliott has been averaging between "eight and 10" runners recently, but a few new additions to her stable and the coronavirus lockdown meant they "nominated everyone who was ready for a run".

Elsewhere on the card Our Chance Todream, Waiting For Love and The Bachelor are backing up from wins on Friday.
