The Muswellbrook Rams have announced the re-signing of Adam Grew and Chanel Mata'utia for the 2022 Bengalla Group 21 Hunter Valley Rugby League season.

Front-rower Grew first signed for the Rams in 2020 and previously won a premiership in Newcastle first grade rugby league with the Macquarie Scorpions in 2017.

Playing on the wing and at centre, Mata'utia previously made 13 appearances for the Newcastle Knights in the NRL between 2014 and 2017 before joining the Cessnock Goannas in 2018.

Both the 2020 and 2021 seasons of the Group 21 competition were unable to be completed due to the coronavirus pandemic, with the Scone Thoroughbreds the last team to win the premiership in 2019.

The Rams will be hosting their annual AGM at 11am on Saturday, October 23 at Olympic Park in Muswellbrook to determine the club's executive for 2022.

All Rams members are invited to attend.
