An 18-year-old man will face a NSW court charged with murder over the apparent fatal stabbing of another teen at the weekend.

Emergency services were called to a home at Casino in NSW's Northern Rivers region early on Saturday morning on reports of a stabbing.
Police arrived to find the younger teenager with wounds to his neck, who died at the scene.
A crime scene was established and the area searched with police dogs.
The 18-year-old was arrested at his home on Sunday morning and taken to the Casino police station where he was charged with murder.
His home has been declared a crime scene and is being forensically examined.
The man was refused bail and will appear in Lismore Local Court on Monday.
