Tracey Marsden has gained quite a following on social media for her new venture, Little Rascals Playhouse.
The centre will be an indoor playground for kids.
There will be a pirate ship maze, jumping castle, as well as a course filled with fun challenges for youngsters.
Aimed at children up to 10 years of age, there is even a café so parents can enjoy a cuppa while they keep an eye on the kids.
“I know how much my kids like this kind of thing,” Mrs Marsden said.
“We will have designated party areas and have them all spread out.
“There will be an entry fee, but we will keep it as low as we can so people keep coming back.”
Mrs Marsden said she hopes this, and other new ventures in the area, will help encourage people from neighbouring towns to come to town and for residents to spend a bit more time here.
“They will have this, they will have movies, they have some shops,” she said.
“They are for different age groups.”
So far feedback has been overwhelmingly positive for the project, with people asking questions about when the centre will be opening.
“I still don’t have a definite date, late August is what I am looking at,” Mrs Marsden said.
But, for now, the focus is on staying on top of manufacturers who are providing the equipment, fixing up car parking and ensuring compliance with fire safety standards.
