And, this month they will use their love of riding to help others.
Originally the 11-year-olds knew they wanted to do a ride for fun, and later decided to support a charity at the same time.
On February 12, the Merriwa Central School students will go on an adventure to raise money and awareness for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
They will leave Merriwa Showground that morning and ride to Sandy Hollow, and stay the night.
On Saturday the pair will continue riding until they finish at Muswellbrook
Race Club around midday, for the Cancer Council Family Race Day.
The girls have been collecting money through their go fundraise page Tamsin and Izzy’s Ride, and door knocking.
They will also have containers with them as they ride, which people can add to if they see the girls on the road.
Izabella’s friendly horse Shadow has been with her since she was around 2 years old, and will be joining her on the journey.
This isn’t her first time riding for charity.
When she was 4, she was awarded a Sandy Hollow Charity Horse Ride trophy for the youngest ever rider to participate.
She said her favourite thing about horse riding is going fast.
Fellow rider Tamsin has been riding for around 10 years and likes horses in general, as well as horse sport events.
Her mother Nyssa Thomas will be driving the girls’ support car, following them on their trip.
To show support for the two friends, visit Muswellbrook Race Club on Saturday, February 13.
The Year 7 students would like to thank Phil Neale and Nyssa Thomas for supporting them and helping organise the ride.
