The annual Global Village Motorfest and Fair will return this weekend, with plenty of fun for the whole family.
On Sunday, October 15, join the Upper Hunter Motoring Association (UHMA) at Muswellbrook Showground from 9am, to help raise money for the Muswellbrook PCYC.
In an effort to maintain the event’s reputation as a low-cost day of fun, the association has maintained entry fees over the years.
Admission is $2 per person or $5 for a family – with proceeds collected for the PCYC.
The day includes a show and shine for classic cars and bikes; market stalls; and free children’s entertainment, including face painting a puppet show, and two jumping castles.
Jumpin’ Jukebox will perform in the morning, and helicopter joy flights will be available.
“We work towards having a good time, and putting on an event for the community,” UHMA’s Geoff Budden said.
“Whatever results out of that, is a bonus for the PCYC.”
Over the past seven years, the partnership between UHMA and the PCYC has been a great asset for the community, raising more than $136,000 for community projects.
