MUSWELLBROOK Rams Junior Football Club’s annual presentation day saw players from the under-6s through to 16s rewarded for their dedication, courage, and commitment throughout the season.

The Joe Dial award for the most successful junior side went to the under-14s division three team, while Ram of the Year was claimed by Jason Madden and Club Person of the Year was handed to Michelle Williams. Under-16s stars Bailey Taylor, Ben Talty, and Bryce Beverstock picked up major awards for their outstanding individual seasons.
Taylor was awarded the most successful representative player after being selected in the Greater Northern Tigers’ team for the Country Championships.
He was part of the side that stormed through to the final and took it out at Mudgee.
The Ron Langdon award, which is named after a life member of the club who passed away in 1997, went to Talty.
He has gained selection in various representative teams over the years including Group 21, Combined Catholic Colleges, Newcastle Chargers, and Knights Harold Matthews side, and was recently selected for the under-18 Knights team.
Beverstock claimed the RSL award, which is presented to an under-16s player who must have played for three consecutive years in each division and who has shown the utmost dedication, sportsmanship, courage, respect and consistency in their football throughout that time.
The Crusher award, named in honour of popular former player Matt “Crusher” who tragically passed away in 2002, went to Kobey Adam-Smith. Another major award, the Ted and Norma Rowan award, handed to an under-12s player who has played for three consecutive years and shown dedication to the game and consistently improved their skills over that period, was picked up by Lachlan Clare.
The Players of the Year from under-12s to 16s were: Declan Pettit (12s), Hugh Collins (13s), John Page (14s), Max Greacen (15s), and Ben Talty (16s).
Best and fairest went to Christopher Henderson (12s), Jayke Claydon (13s), Jye King (14s), Jayden Dick (15s), and Bailey Taylor (16s).
The Graeme Frame award, for sportsmanship, was awarded to Colby Woodeson (12s), Connor Brown (13s), Logan Parker (14s), Pattison Hofman (15s), and Paul Dengate (16s).
The coaches choice awards were claimed by Jack Brown and Anthony Van Vliet (12s), John Kendall and Nathan Vanderdonk (13s), Jake Hoffman, William Cannon and Nathan Wilton (13s), Callan Cridland and Tyler Alvey (14s), and Joaby Stevens and Wade McKenzie (16s).
Best forwards for the season went to Christopher Henderson (12s), Noah McDonald (13s), Jye King (14s), and Max Greacen (15s). Best backs were Callum Alvey (12s), Harrison Bromfield (13s), Zane Stewart (14s), Bailey Ellis (15s), and Emmanuel Sithole (16s).
AT the Mini Mods’ separate presentation, which included under-6s through to under-11s, the Val McGee award went to Jack Haylen.
This is the most prestigious Mini League award; it recognises a player who has played for three consecutive years and has shown dedication to the game and consistently improved their skills over this time. Jack’s natural ability, drive, attitude towards training and willingness to encourage others within his team is something he can be very proud of, while his passion for the game has never faulted.
Player of the Year awards went to Tushawn Saunders (under-6 Blue), Jackson Foot (under-6 Gold), Flynn Snewin (under-6 White), Bailey Chick (under-7 Blue), Tyler Mullard (under-7 Gold), Leroy Baker (under-8 Blue), Nate Rothall (under-8 Gold), Tyson Ward (under-9 Blue), Nate Price-Greenham (under-9 Gold), Aiden Horton (under-9 White), Matthew Lackenby (under-10 Blue), Bailey Carter (under-11 Blue).
Best and fairest winners were Campbell Deakin (under-6 Blue), Lucas Alvey (under-6 Gold), Daesjarn Coyle (under-6 White), Andy Gill (under-7 Blue), Izayah Northey (under-7 Gold), Cody Snow (under-8 Blue), Ryan Schafer (under-8 Gold), Luke Marco (under-9 Blue), Connor Dawson (under-9 Gold), Angus Alvey (under-9 White), Jaxon Schafer (under-10 Blue), and Brody Perry (under-11 Blue).

Coaches awards were claimed by Jack Andrews and Kayne Mills (under-6 Blue), Toby Large and Deegan Lidster (under-6 Gold), Phoenix McGrady and Jukell McGrady (under-6 White), Cooper Muffett and Christian Carroll-Shuttleworth (under-7 Blue), Wade Simpson and Mitchell Rousell (under-7 Gold), Bailey Hartley and Ryan Brown (under-8 Blue), Nate Johnston and Malikhai Saunders (under-8 Gold), Kobi Ross and Jacob Rousell (under-9 Blue), Logan Phillips and Deon Louis (under-9 Gold), Jed Baker and Sam Carr (under-9 White), Elizabeth Ferries and Jeremy Roberts (under-10 Blue), and Zachary Hatton and Jye Taylor (under-11 Blue).
Best forwards and backs, for under-10s and 11s only, were Collin Bellamy (under-10 Blue) and Angus Williams (under-11 Blue), Isla Johnston (under-10 Blue) and Kobi Andersen (under-11 Blue).
