The Muswellbrook District Junior Rugby League Football Club hosted its last mini/mod day of the year, with many teams from throughout Group 21 – including Scone, Denman, Singleton, Aberdeen and Greta Branxton – participating.
The occasion also doubled as the organisation’s Men of League round.
Former NRL star, coach and referee’s boss Stuart Raper met local fans and drummed up some support for the popular foundation, which assists ex-players, coaches, administrators, officials and their families who have fallen on hard times.
All of the junior players also took to the field wearing specially-designed Men of League socks.
