And, members from Denman, Merriwa, Muswellbrook and Branxton View clubs, as well as Mulloon, took advantage of the conditions to enjoy Walk with VIEW.
The fun occasion gave the women an opportunity to not only promote their organisation, but raise awareness of the work they do for The Smith Family.
“All up, we had about 33 people join in on the day,” Denman’s Jeanette Travers said.
“It was wonderful.
“We had a lovely stroll up the main street, then onto the Denman Memorial Path Walk and ended up at Two Rivers Winery.
“Eighteen members took part in the actual walk, while some met us at the venue.
“Organised by our hard-working Zone Councillor Angie Carroll, we had a delightful lunch and a glass of wine or two – it was great, according to our visitors.
“The hospitality we received was amazing.
“A huge thank you to Linda Keeping, Mandy, Jess and Snez at Two Rivers Winery, as well as the members who travelled.”
