More than 200 competitors took part in a two-day charity event for the Leukaemia Foundation, co-hosted by Valley Team Penning and Upper Hunter Team Penning.
Each president chose 15 teams from their perspective organisation to compete against one another, with the winner being determined by the aggregate score of each club.
“We’re very happy with the turnout,” Valley Team Penning secretary Jill Pepperall said.
“We’ve got people from Singleton, Scone, Muswellbrook, Gresford, Dungog and Tamworth.
“And, we’re delighted Upper Hunter Team Penning came on board to help us raise money, too.
“It’s all about the Leukaemia Foundation this weekend.
“We recently lost a life member of the club, so it’s a cause close to our hearts.
“We’ve already raised $10,000, which was our original goal.
“Our thanks to the major sponsor, Furneys Stock Feed, for their support.”
