A MAN charged over two alleged armed robberies in Muswellbrook last month will appear at court on Friday.

Police will allege that about 10.30am on Tuesday, October 10, a man armed with a knife robbed a fashion store in Bridge Street, escaping with a sum of cash.
It will further be alleged that just after noon, on the same day, he threatened a staff member at a restaurant in Bridge Street before escaping with cash.
Officers from Hunter Valley Local Area Command have been investigating both incidents and attended a home in Glenbawn Place, Muswellbrook, about 10.50am on Thursday.
A 23-year-old man was arrested and taken to Muswellbrook Police Station where he was charged with two counts of robbery armed with an offensive weapon.
He was refused bail to appear at Singleton Local Court on Friday.
