THERE were squeals of delight and plenty of smiling faces at St James’ Primary School on Friday afternoon.
More than 280 pupils participated in the inaugural Colour Run – and not one of them would have gone home unhappy.
“Everyone was definitely excited about it, especially as it’s our first one,” principal Niamh Marzol said.
“Students, teachers, parents, brothers and sisters headed out for some fun and fitness, dodging obstacle courses, while being bombarded with colour.
“We’re raising funds for school improvements, including new playground equipment.
“And, we have had a fantastic response from the school community.”
