The local library has a range of activities on offer, including Recycled Robot which attracted many youngsters to the Summer Reading Club (SRC) initiative on Friday.
And, the children’s imaginations ran wild, with a number of fancy designs.
“They’re making the robots from recycled items,” branch library officer Julie Edwards said.
“The kids love it – and they’re all very busy.
“It also allows them to show off their creativity.
“This project has certainly been a winner.
“It all leads into the big SRC Game On party at the end of the month.”
The Denman Library is involved in the inaugural 3D virtual reality inter-town challenge, too.
That will take place on Wednesday, January 17, between 2pm and 5pm, when Muswellbrook Shire mayor Martin Rush battles all comers.
Gamers can now book a 20-minute trial run.
To join in the challenge, you must be 13 years or older and be a library member.
If you’re not, enlist now – it’s easy and it’s free.
