About 12.50am on February 1, the business was entered by unknown person/s, by shattering a glass panel in the ground floor front door.
The offender/s then smashed open an ATM, located in the foyer, and stole cash.
The club’s alarm was activated.
And, a short time later, an employee arrived to find the damage, as well as noticing the theft.
Detectives are currently looking into the matter.
It is the second ATM accessed in the Upper Hunter recently.
Last month, offenders used a crowbar to gain entry to the Scone Sporties Club – and dislodged the ATM.
Unfortunately, no CCTV footage was available at that location.
Business owners who have ATMs are advised to keep an eye out for any suspicious behaviour or activity in their area.
If you have any concerns at all, phone the Muswellbrook Police Station on 6542 6999 or Triple Zero if you believe an offence is about to occur.
Meanwhile, if anyone has information about incident at Aberdeen, contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
