Fencing of the existing off-leash area, which features the popular agility park with its tunnels, weaving poles and balance beams, allows the community to exercise their companions in a safe and friendly controlled environment.
Four fenced spaces will be available, including the existing agility area, free and accessible to the public.
One of the spaces will be designated for more boisterous dogs, the second for smaller or older dogs and another for dogs that are still learning to socialise.
Formalising the off-leash area with fencing, will make the whole area safer for canines, owners, and the general public.
Council has addressed other areas of concern with the inclusion of shelter, rubbish bins and water stations.
