Under-8 competitor Caiden Waugh went home with the perpetual trophy for the Most Outstanding Performance at a Representative Level.
He claimed a second and a third at the Region 2 Championships – a great effort.
A special award also went to Kate Lloyd, for 14 years’ continual membership of Aberdeen Little Athletics.
Next season, she will be “too old” for the junior ranks; and the club wishes her all the best.
The centre boasted a number of representatives, too.
Conan Waugh (U7) and Ava Roughan (U9) showcased their skills at zone at East Maitland.
Thomas Roughan (U8), Caiden Waugh (U8), Malaki Poa (U11), Bella-Rose Partridge (U14) and Kate Lloyd (U17) added regional status – at the Mingara Athletics Facility – to that of zone.
There were four levels of awards handed out as well (Level 1 - points over 150; Level 2 - 125 to 149 points; Level 3 - 100 to 124 points; Level 4 - below 100 points).
Points throughout the season were awarded for participation and personal improvement.

The committee hopes all the athletes enjoyed their 2017-18 season and that they’ll see you all again in October for 2018-19.
Thanks also to the parents who helped out, whether it be as group leaders, timekeepers, officials, canteen helpers - the club could not have run each week without you.
