The festivities kicked off at 6pm and went right through until 9pm, with non-stop entertainment keeping the audience satisfied.
Those who wandered from the stage had plenty to see, with a show featuring vintage and sports cars available for viewing in the car park, and plenty of stalls offering food, crafts or much needed coffee lining the oval upon entrance.
Various students performed throughout the evening, but as always it was the Year 7/8 choir that drew the most attention.
They were dedicated to perform rain, hail or shine, which was fortunate because the heavens begun to open, quite ironically, at the beginning of the nativity play.
The constant chatter and endless sea of smiles made it extremely clear the event had once again been a resounding success, and all the work put into its planning by the teaching and administration staff was well worth it.
