ARTS Upper Hunter (AUH) is currently hosting a special photographic exhibition.
Featuring the winner of the 2018 Muswellbrook Local Art Awards Photography Prize Jess Dugan, the display adorns the AUH office foyer at 142 Bridge Street, Muswellbrook.
Ms Dugan began her photography career in 2012, after studying a certificate in photography through open colleges.
She's specialised in family, wedding and portrait photography for the past six years.
"Happiness is different for everyone," the talented lens woman said.
"One thing that might make one person happy, another doesn't give thought to.
"During some recent training I did on Visible Wellbeing, through the Where There's a Will Foundation, we were tasked to write a list of what makes us happy.
"It is easy enough to write a list, but to actually do these things in today's fast-paced society, can have its own set of hurdles."
In addition to being the winner of the 2018 Muswellbrook Local Art Awards Photography Prize, Ms Dugan was also second in the 2016 and 2017 editions.
She was born in Lower Hutt, New Zealand, and moved to Sydney in 2007, before venturing to Muswellbrook in 2009 with her family.
The exhibition is open Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm, and will close on Thursday, April 18.
