But, before you get too excited, Hugh Jackman won't be there in the flesh.
His blockbuster hit, The Greatest Showman, will headline the town's inaugural Cinema Under The Star extravaganza at the Denman Sports Complex.
"We usually host the event in Muswellbrook, but we're taking it to Denman on this occasion," Muswellbrook Neighbourhood Service's Vanessa Harshman said.
"We're hoping to get a big crowd in attendance.
"There'll be loads of free, fun family activities including jumping castles and kids' craft tables.
"We'll also have service information stalls, a chocolate wheel with prizes and much more.
"Residents can BYO bean bags, blankets and pillows - anything that makes them comfortable watching a movie.
"And, in case of wet weather, we'll move it to the Denman Indoor Sports Centre."
Inspired by the imagination of PT Barnum, The Greatest Showman - starring Jackman, Zac Efron, Michelle Williams, Rebecca Ferguson and Zendaya - is an original musical that celebrates the birth of show business and tells of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation.
The film also spawned the smash single, This Is Me, which won Best Original Song - Motion Picture at the 75th Golden Globe Awards.
So, if that appeals to you, head to Cinema Under The Stars on Friday, June 7.
There'll be family activities from 4.30pm, with the movie starting at 6.30pm.
