A MAN was flown to Newcastle for further treatment after suffering injuries from a motor vehicle accident at Muswellbrook on Sunday morning.
About 6am, emergency services, including NSW RFS brigades, attended a two-car crash on the New England Highway.
Upon arrival, all crews worked together to assist the casualties and clean up the roadway, so it could be reopened to traffic.
NSW Ambulance paramedics and officers from Hunter Valley Police District then met with the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service, who collected the patient at Victoria Park.
It's been reported the 38-year-old sustained a broken leg from the incident.
He was transported to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
Investigations are continuing.
