The talented Ramettes, many of whom played in the league tag decider the previous evening at Olympic Park, proved too strong for Raymond Terrace in the CRL Central Hunter grand final, running out convincing winners 32-20.
After claiming the minor premiership, Muswellbrook booked its berth in the finale by, ironically, knocking over the same rival 30-10 a fortnight ago.
Coach Al Baker was thrilled with the girls' effort.
"They really deserve this - they've worked hard throughout the season," he said.
"I'm so happy for them."
