In this initiative, the children are ability grouped, which allows for students to progress with peers at similar levels.
"The pupils have been working on water familiarisation, stroke development, personal water safety and survival knowledge," classroom teacher Rebecca Muller said.
"They are participating in 45-minute lessons that not only work on developing stroke, but also water safety skills, so that they are equipped with the skills they need if they ever require them."
Bengalla community relations specialist Fiona Hartin said the company was keen to dive into the concept.
"This is such a great program for us to get behind," she explained.
"And, we are pleased to support it again this year.
"To see all the happy smiling faces and hear how much the children have improved in confidence and skills is fantastic."
