FIRE crews were kept busy in Muswellbrook on Friday morning.
About 6am, on October 18, personnel from Fire and Rescue NSW Muswellbrook and Edinglassie Rural Fire Service attended a blaze at the Muswellbrook Waste Facility, along with officers from Hunter Valley Police District.

It is believed a rubbish fire was the cause of the incident, however investigations are continuing.
Edinglassie 6 assisted with suppressing the fire and supplying support bulk water to the Muswellbrook team.
Crews will be on the scene throughout the day, while smoke may be visible in the area for some time.
