THANKS to a generous grant from Ravensworth Operations, the residents of Calvary Retirement Community at Muswellbrook have been enjoying weekly music sessions provided by the Upper Hunter Conservatorium of Music (UHCM) staff and students.
"The conservatorium is aiming to increase its outreach to more people of the Upper Hunter region," UHCM director Dr Wendy Brooks said.
"And, partnerships with community-conscious industries such as Ravensworth Operations enable us to present tailored initiatives to those who can benefit the most.
"Our program at Calvary Retirement Community includes a monthly concert, as well as weekly singalong sessions for the residents."
