FOR the second consecutive year, Commonwealth Bank Muswellbrook has put big smiles on the clients' faces of Warrior Disability Services (WDS).
As part of a nationwide community donation program, the local branch's employees recently presented WDS with another cheque for $500.
And, Josh Moore was delighted to accept the "gift" on Friday morning.
"That's $1000 over the past 12 months," he said.
"Our thanks go to Commonwealth Bank for supporting us.
"We really love what we do at Warrior Disability Services - we're very passionate.
"This funding allows our clients to go on a holiday, which they might not experience otherwise.
"We went to Forster, for four days, in 2018 and Coffs Harbour in 2019.
"The sky's the limit next year.
"So, donations like this certainly enrich their lives."
Manager Samantha Jones said the Commonwealth Bank's Muswellbrook branch team voted to support the great work of WDS again.
"With the festive season approaching, it's a timely opportunity for us to get behind Sally [Pereira] and Warrior Disability Services," she explained.
"In particular, the emphasis they place on making a positive impact within our community, sharing joy and changing lives.
"So, it's great to be able to give back and support this work."
Over the next few months, Commonwealth Bank has pledged to donate $500,000 nationally to recognise organisations that make a difference in the communities in which we live and work.
Each branch and customer-facing team is allocated $500 to donate to causes important to their local region.
