The club on Tuesday announced the return of talented young player Taylah Wynne, who follows the recent signings of Chanise Jenkins, Kristy Rinaldi and Claire Constable.
Wynne has represented Victoria Country as a junior as well as previously playing 43 games for the Selkirk Ballarat Rush in the South East Australian Basketball League during 2017 and 2018.
She returns to basketball after taking a break from the game throughout 2019.
"Extremely excited, feeling fresh and ready to go after taking some time off," Wynne said.
Wynne, who played juniors for the Ballarat Celtic Tigers Basketball Club, was looking forward to playing in the new Ballarat Sports and Events Centre in Wendouree.
"I am looking forward to re-joining with the girls and playing in the new stadium in front of Ballarat fans," Wynne said.
Ballarat Basketball's elite teams manager Glenn White said the addition of Wynne to the female program was another positive step in retaining local talent.
"Taylah is another example of our talent pathways playing through from domestic level here in Ballarat and having her come back to play in the NBL1 next year is another great recruit for the Selkirk Ballarat Rush," White said.
Wynne is the partner of Ballarat Miners and Melbourne United player Sam Short.
Jenkins is returning to Ballarat Rush for a second NBL1 season.
The United States import was a star performer for the Rush in the competition's inaugural season this year.
Jenkins capped off the campaign by taking out Ballarat's most valuable player award, the Robyn Maher Medal.
Her outstanding campaign included an average of 17 points, six rebounds, six assists and three steals per match.
Days after Jenkins was announced as a signing, the Rush confirmed club great and former captain Rinaldi had decided to return in 2020.
The 13-year veteran played 297 games in the now-abolished SEABL competition before announcing her retirement in 2018.
After that, Constable's commitment for 2020 was made public.
The shooting-guard was part of last season's Rush team which finished 12th on the NBL1 ladder.
Jenkins, Rinaldi and Constable were all announced during November.
Eric Hayes was head coach of the Ballarat team this year and will remain in the role for next season.
