The Jan Bowen-trained mare, a four-year-old daughter of Time Thief, was having her third run for the mentor and led all the way to demolish her opposition.

Rachael Murray rode the mare, who has now won one of 15 starts, and was delighted with her effort.

"You frightened me a bit," Bowen told the jockey after she jumped so well and led.

"She got a good jump," Murray replied.

"She began very well."

While she wanted to get out a bit, Murray kept her on the fence and rolling along.

The mare responded well to her soft hands and was never in trouble to win by a couple of lengths.

"The previous trainer told me she'd get better as she gets older," Bowen said.

"She ran away from them in the finish, a very strong win.

"I've only had her the three starts and was unlucky in the other two."

Bowen said she might "give her a little break, two or three weeks" to get over the trip and heat.

"She's a beautiful filly, a kids' pony, got a great temperament," she added.
